MNREGA guarantees employment
MNREGA law has been implemented to guarantee employment to people in rural areas of the country. Employment is guaranteed under this law. With this people can earn their living. Many changes have been made in the rules related to this law, so that corruption can be curbed. It may be known that the Central Government had written a letter to all the States and Union Territories on December 23, 2022, to make Digital Attendance mandatory.
this was the reason
At present, there was a provision of digital attendance for those working under MNREGA. However, there was a condition for this, which has now been removed. Till now more than 20 workers were required, only there was a provision to register digitally. Now it has been made mandatory for all workplaces. Under digital attendance, the time is mentioned twice on the mobile app and the pictures of the laborers are geotagging.
