MS Dhoni Indian Team: Preparations have started for the return of former Indian captain MS Dhoni to the Indian team once again. It is being claimed in all the reports that soon the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is going to send an invitation to Dhoni to work permanently with the team. It is believed that Dhoni will retire from cricket after the next Indian Premier League season and BCCI does not want to miss this opportunity under any circumstances.
Dhoni’s work with the Indian team will be of a different kind. He can only be given the command of the T20 team and in that too he will have to work with a few selected players. Overall, his work will be like that of the Director of Cricket. Dhoni was made the mentor of the Indian team for last year’s T20 World Cup, but the team was knocked out in the first round. However, it is clear that if someone gets a week or two, he cannot change a team. If Dhoni gets a permanent position then definitely he can change the condition of the team.
BCCI wants to work as head coach
At present, a lot of cricket is being played and players seem to be avoiding playing in all the three formats. If a team has a head coach for all three formats, then it is left with no option. Keeping this in mind, BCCI wants to reduce the load of Rahul Dravid. Dhoni’s understanding in T20 cricket is very high and the board wants to use it only.
