Ingredients
1 cup gram flour
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ginger paste
1/2 cup curd (yogurt)
1/2 tsp fruit salt tsp mustard seeds
2 stalks curry leaves
2 tbsp vegetable oil
salt as needed
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1 tbsp tandoori masala
How to make Tandoori Dhokla
prepare batter
Add gram flour, turmeric, ginger paste, curd, fruit salt, 1/2 tbsp tandoori masala, red chilli powder and salt as per taste. Add water as required and mix well to make a thick and smooth batter.

Grease a round plate with a little oil and pour the batter into it. Place it in a steamer, cover and steam for 10-12 minutes. After it is done, take it out and let it cool down.

Cut the Tandoori Dhokla into cubes and keep them in a plate. – Now heat oil in a pan for tempering, add curry leaves, mustard seeds and fry for 1 minute. Pour this tempering over the Dhokla cubes. Finally, sprinkle 1/2 tbsp tandoori masala on top.

tips
You can make sweet tempering by mixing 1-2 tbsp sugar with 1/4 cup water in the tempering. Let it boil and put it on the dhokla pieces.
