Meanwhile, there is a demand for demonetisation to bring Pakistan’s economy back on track. An economist has said that to come out of the economic crisis, Pakistan should stop the note of 5000 rupees. Citing the example of India, the economist said that there has been a rapid increase in tax collection after demonetisation.

Economist told the biggest shortcoming of Pakistani economy

A product is going viral on social media. Economist Ammar Khan speaking about it said that there is a cash shortage of up to 8.5 trillion in Pakistan’s economy. He said that everything is being done in cash in the economy of Pakistan. Even if someone goes to buy petrol in Pakistan, he is paying in cash, whereas petrol is imported in dollars. At the same time, no tax is going into the economy when money comes in cash. This is where the problem is arising.

Ammar Khan told why demonetisation should happen

Ammar Khan said that when the cash goes out of the system, it cannot be used for productive purposes. Pakistan has more than 8 trillion cash. If some part of this goes to Pakistan’s economy then there will be a change and the economy will improve. Out of all the currencies, he has advised to discontinue only Rs 5000 note in the next 6 months, so that the situation remains normal with the rest of the notes.
