India’s star wicketkeeper Tania Bhatia has become a victim of theft incident on the tour of England. Taniya Bhatia has claimed that someone stole her valuables from a hotel room in England. Tania Bhatia has targeted the England and Wales Cricket Board for this incident. Tania alleges that due to lack of security, there was a theft in her hotel room.

Tania Bhatia was part of India’s T20 and ODI team on the England tour. India played a limited over series against England from 10 September to 24 September. Through social media, Tania has told that someone has stolen cash and jewelery from her hotel room.

Tania Bhatia alleged that the ECB had provided very little security to the Indian cricket team. Tania tweeted, “I am extremely disappointed and shocked. Someone in my hotel room stole my bag. The bag contained cash, cards, watches and jewellery. I stayed in this hotel room while playing for the women’s team. There is a lot of insecurity here.”

Tania expressed hope of getting the matter resolved

Tania has expressed hope for an investigation into the matter. The star cricketer said, “I sincerely hope that there will be an investigation in this matter at the earliest and the matter will be taken up. The England and Wales Cricket Board should not have kept such low security. The ECB should discuss this matter with its security partner. I hope he will take this matter very seriously.

However, the silence on this matter has not yet been broken by the England and Wales Cricket Board. On the other hand, if we talk about Team India, then the tour of England was mixed for it. In the T20 series, India had to face a 1-2 defeat at the hands of England. But in the ODI series, India performed amazingly and won the series 3-0.
