Global professional services company Aon Hewitt Globals has released a latest survey regarding salary hike. The company has surveyed 1400 companies in 40 industries. Out of which 46 percent companies are preparing to increase salary in double digit in 2023. Salary was increased by 10.6 percent last year. Due to the corona epidemic of 2020 and 2021, the companies did not give increment. After which a handsome salary hike was given in 2022.

According to the survey, companies related to technology platforms and products are also preparing to increase the salary by 2023 and this industry will increase the average salary by 10.9 percent. Although this survey has come when recently Wipro has cut the salary offer given to freshers. The annual offer has been reduced from Rs 6.5 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh.

Earlier, Korn Ferry also said in its survey that in 2022, where there was an increase in average salary of 9.2 per cent, but in 2023 it is expected to increase by 9.8 per cent and those who are more talented, their salary Even more growth can be seen.

According to the survey, the focus of the companies is on the fact that more talented people do not leave the companies and go anywhere else. For this, companies are trying to stop high performing employees by giving different types of talent management steps and formal retention and higher salary. This survey was conducted in 818 companies, in which it was believed that in 2023, there could be an increase in the average salary of 9.8 percent.
