In this way EPF balance can be checked-
1. Check EPF balance through missed call only-
EPFO provides facility to its crores of account holders to check EPF balance through missed call only. For this, you have to give a missed call from your registered number to 011- 22901406. After this, a message will come to you in a few minutes. On opening it, you will know your balance.
2. You can check through SMS
Apart from missed call, you can also check EPFO documents through SMS only. To keep in mind, all your documents should be linked to UAN. To know the balance, write EPFOHO UAN language and send it to 7738299899. After this, in a few minutes you will get the message of balance like EPF.
3. Check passbook through EPF portal
- Visit https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php to check balance.
- After this go to the option of Our Services here and select For Employees.
- Next, go to the service option and visit the member passbook.
- On the next page, you will have to enter the UAN number and password. After this, captcha will have to be entered further.
- After this enter your member ID. Within few minutes you will get EPF balance.
4. Check balance from UMANG App-
- First of all download Umang App in mobile. After this enter your registered mobile.
- After this click on EPFO option.
- Next click on Employee Centric Services.
- After this click on view Passbook.
- After this OTP has to be entered on UAN number and registered mobile.
- Next, the EPF passbook will open in front of you.
