Chahal became the second highest wicket-taker in IPL, just a few steps away from becoming number-1

Most IPL Wickets: Rajasthan Royals spinner Yuzvendra Chahal made a big record in the IPL match held last night (April 5). By taking one wicket in the match against Punjab Kings, he became the second highest wicket-taker in IPL. He left behind veteran Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga in this matter.

Lasith Malinga took 170 wickets in his IPL career playing 122 matches. At the same time, the number of Chahal’s IPL wickets has now increased to 171. Chahal took 133 IPL matches to reach here. Punjab Kings wicket-keeper batsman Jitesh Sharma became his 171st victim.

Dwayne Bravo is number-1
The record of taking the most wickets in IPL is recorded in the name of Windies fast bowler Dwayne Bravo. Bravo has taken 183 wickets in 161 IPL matches. He was a part of IPL till last season, now he has said goodbye to IPL. Now Chahal has a chance to become the highest IPL wicket-taker. He needs 13 wickets to break this record. Probably he can make this big record in his name in this season.
