Passengers will not be able to eat chips, fried items like samosa or deep fried items in snacks. There is also a complete ban on non-veg, tobacco, gutkha, pan masala and cigarettes.

What can be eaten on Amarnath Yatra

In this journey, devotees can eat pulses, cereals, green vegetables, tea-coffee, anything made of rice, poha, lemon drink, dry fruits. Things made of jaggery, kheer made of sago or rice, porridge, sesame laddoos, dhokla, chikki, revdi, makhana, dry petha can also be taken by the passengers. Similar foods will be found in langars. But if you are taking anything to eat with you, then you have to take care of these things.
