<h3><strong>Opposition To Meet President Murmu</strong></h3>
<p>Leaders from the Opposition parties will meet President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday to raise the Manipur issue after their demand for a statement from the Prime Minister in the Parliament ollowed by a comprehensive discussion on the violence in the state remained unfulfilled. On behalf of the Opposition parties, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge sought time from President Murmu who granted time to them on Wednesday at 11:30 am, said the party leaders on Tuesday. The delegation will also include 21 MPs of the opposition Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) who visited Manipur on July 29-30.</p>
<h3><strong>VHP To Hold Protest In Noida </strong></h3>
<p>The right-wing organisation, Vishwa Hindu Parishad will on Wednesday hold a "major demonstration" in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida to protest against the communal violence in Haryana. The demonstration in being planned at a time when restrictions under CrPC section 144 are placed in the Gautam Budh Nagar district. VHP’s publicity chief Rahul Dubey said the protest march would start from the Noida stadium in Sector 21A towards Rajnigandha Chowk in Sector 16, where an effigy would be burnt, as per a PTI report.</p>
<h3><strong>GST Council To Finalise Modalities For Taxing Online Games, Casinos</strong> </h3>
<p>The GST council will on Wednesday will hold a meeting to finalise the modalities for determination of supply value in online gaming and casinos for levying 28 per cent tax, according to PTI. The Council, chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and comprising state ministers, in its last meeting on July 11 approved levying 28 per cent tax on full face value of bets in online gaming, casinos and horse racing.</p>
