BJP MP Nishikant Dubey had complained to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla about Moitra, accusing her of asking questions in Lok Sabha at the request of businessman Darshan Hiranandani in exchange for gifts.
There are indications that the committee may make a recommendation against Moitra in its report to Speaker Birla, despite opposition members’ dissent notes, the report said.
