<h3><strong>PM Modi To Attend ASEAN-India, East Asia Summits In Jakarta Today: </strong></h3>
<p>Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s summit talks with the leaders of the 10-nation influential bloc in Jakarta on Thursday, a new initiative to boost India-ASEAN maritime security cooperation is expected to be unveiled, news agency PTI reported citing people familiar with the matter. PM Modi departed for Jakarta on Wednesday night to attend the 20th ASEAN-India Summit and the 18th East Asia Summit. As the current Chair of the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), Indonesia is hosting the summits.</p>
<p>The ASEAN is regarded as one of the most powerful organisations in the region, with dialogue partners including the United States, China, Japan, and Australia. Shoring up India’s trade and security ties with the ASEAN is likely to be the focus of Modi’s engagement with leaders of the bloc.</p>
<h3><strong>Delhi Congress Plans District Rallies To Celebrate 1st Anniversary Of Bharat Jodo Yatra: </strong></h3>
<p><span id="input-sentence~0">The Delhi Congress is set to commemorate the first anniversary of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra by organizing rallies in every district of the national capital on Thursday. </span><span id="input-sentence~1">In accordance with the directives of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), these rallies are scheduled to commence at 5 PM and will feature participation from prominent Delhi Congress leaders. </span><span id="input-sentence~2">Despite the concurrent Janmashtami celebrations on September 7, there is notable enthusiasm among Congress members and the public for these anniversary rallies, stated former MLA Mukesh Sharma during a press conference in Delhi.</span></p>
<p>"Though people would be celebrating the Janmashtami festival on September 7, there is tremendous enthusiasm among Congress workers and the general public for the Bharat Jodo Yatra anniversary rallies," Sharma was quoted as saying by PTI.</p>
<p>He added that Delhi Congress chief Arvinder Singh Lovely has met with party workers to discuss rally preparations and has advised the party’s district unit chiefs to ensure maximum participation of Congress workers from the ground up.</p>
