Because in true sense the number of blind people in the world is much more than those who can see.

Akbar was surprised to hear Birbal’s answer. He said, no Birbal, you are saying wrong, because when we look around us, we only see people who see more than the blind. In such a situation, the number of people who see is more than the number of blind people.

After listening to Akbar, Birbal said, Jahampanah, someday I will prove to you that there are more blind people in the world than those who see. After listening to Birbal, Akbar said, okay, the day you prove this with evidence, I will also accept it. After this the discussion ends.

In this way about two days pass and Akbar completely forgets this discussion. But here Birbal keeps on finding tricks to prove his point right and in this way about four days pass. Meanwhile, Birbal gets an idea and he goes to the market with two accountants.

With this trick, Birbal made a list of blind and sighted people.

After this, Birbal asks some soldiers to bring a cot frame and a rope to weave it. After this Birbal tells his two accountants that one of you sit on my right and one on my left. He orders the accountant sitting on the right that you will prepare a list of the blind present in the state and tells the left accountant that you will prepare the list of those who see.

As soon as Birbal’s order is received, both the accountants start their work and here Birbal also starts the work of weaving cots. In this way, seeing Birbal weaving cots in the middle of the market, slowly a crowd of people starts gathering. A man from the crowd says to Birbal, what are you doing?

But Birbal does not give any answer to the question and signals to the accountant sitting on his right to write the name of this man in the list of the blind. In this way, as time passes, the number of people also increases. Seeing Birbal, all the people coming to the market ask him the same question to calm their curiosity, what are you doing. Along with this, Birbal gives a signal to his right accountant and gets the names of those who ask such questions written in the list of the blind.

After this a man comes and asks Birbal, why are you making a cot in the middle of the market in such a hot sun? Now Birbal signals to the accountant sitting on the left to write the name of the person asking such a question in the list of observers. Akbar also gets the news of Birbal weaving cots in such a market and Akbar also reaches the market. Akbar also asks Birbal that, Birbal, what are you doing?

On hearing Akbar’s question, Birbal asks the accountant sitting on his right to write Jahampanah Akbar’s name in the list of the blind. Akbar gets angry after listening to Birbal and he says, Birbal I am not blind. My eyes are absolutely fine and I can see everything. Then why are you getting my name written in the list of the blind. After this Birbal says, Jahampanah, if you see that I am making a cot, then why did you ask such a question that what I am doing. Only a blind man can ask such a question.

Akbar said, Birbal you can do anything

After listening to Birbal, Akbar remembers that he is doing all this to prove the truth of the discussion held a few days back. Meanwhile, Akbar starts smiling and says to Birbal that, then tell that, the number of people who see is more or the number of blind people? Birbal says, Jahampanah, I had already said that there are more blind people in the world than those who can see, and the same thing proves to be true in the list I have prepared. Akbar starts laughing after listening to Birbal and says that Birbal, you can do anything to prove your words true.
