Jofra Archer Ruled Out: The England cricket team has suffered a major setback in the form of Joffra Archer ahead of the upcoming English summer. Indian Premier League Part of the Mumbai Indians (MI) team in the 16th season of IPL, Joffra was first ruled out of IPL 2023 and now he will not be seen playing in the Ashes series 2023 as well. Jofra is once again struggling with the problem of stress fracture.

Regarding Jofra Archer’s injury, England Cricket Board (ECB) Managing Director Rob Key said in his statement that this time is troublesome and disappointing for Jofra Archer. With Joffra returning after a long time, he was continuously moving towards getting better. But the elbow injury has once again ruled him out for some time.

Rob Key further said that we wish Joffra a quick return. I am hopeful that we will see Jofra on the field again in the England jersey in all formats, even if it takes some time. Archer had returned home leaving the IPL midway due to an elbow injury, as he was having a lot of trouble playing.

Joffra Archer has not played Test cricket since March 2021

Joffra Archer returned to international cricket in December 2022 after battling stress fracture for almost 2 years. Jofra Archer has not played a single Test match for England since 2021 due to frequent injuries. Jofra Archer will now be kept under the supervision of the medical staff of the England and Sussex teams. The England cricket team hopes that Joffra will be fully fit before the ODI World Cup to be played in India later this year.
