Josh Hazlewood ruled out of Nagpur Test: The Australian team is currently on a tour of India. Kangaroos have to play a four-match Test series here. The first match of the Test series is to be played in Nagpur from 9 February. Before this, the Australian team has suffered a big setback. In fact, the team’s main fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the first Test to be played in Nagpur.
Josh Hazlewood is likely to be ruled out of the first half of the Test series after recovering from an Achilles injury in his left leg after bowling in the Sydney Test last month. Hazlewood has also not participated in Australia’s pre-series camp in Alur.
According to reports, Josh Hazlewood will practice bowling in Nagpur on 7 February. Although it is certain that he will not be able to play in the first test. In such a situation, Scott Boland can get a place in the last eleven in his place.
His availability is also in doubt for the second Test to be played in Delhi from February 17. This is the second big blow for Australia before the important series against India. In fact, due to injury, even Mitchell Starc will not be able to take part in the first Test to be played in Nagpur.
Josh Hazlewood said ahead of Australia’s final session on Sunday, “Not sure yet about playing in the first Test. It is still a few days away. On Tuesday I will practice bowling. There is a bit of workload management at the moment. I Was bowling very well before the tour at home.”
