Ramiz Raja on BCCI: Former Pakistan Cricket Board chief Rameez Raja has given an objectionable statement regarding the officials of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He described the BCCI officials as having the mindset of the BJP. According to Rameez Raja, the mindset of the Indian Cricket Board is to reduce the progress of Pakistan cricket. Unfortunately, what is happening with the BCCI is the BJP’s mindset. However, BCCI officials expressed regret on this statement of Rameez Raja and called Rameez Raja a disappointed man.
BJP Mindset in BCCI
During the interview, Rameez Raja said, unfortunately what is happening with India is the mentality of the BJP there. The properties that I had announced whether it was Pakistan Junior League (PJL) or Pakistan Women’s League. This was done so that we could create a money-making asset that would fund the Pakistan Cricket Board. Which will take us away from ICC funding. Which is important now. During this, he further said, our independence is compromised because most of the resources of the ICC are prepared in India. If India’s mindset is to marginalize Pakistan, then we will be neither here nor there.
