‘THIS IS MONUMENTAL’: Australia Fan At Optus Stadium | WATCH
Speaking to ANI, an Australian fan laid emphasis on the importance and prestige of the series, and added that the ‘iconic’ series is ‘putting up competition with the Ashes’.
“This is the first five-test series in 30 years, and this is going to be a monumental test series coming here in Perth. We’re hoping to see a lot of our Indian fans coming here. We know that this is a test series that is becoming an iconic test series between India and Australia,” said the Australian fan.
“It’s sort of on a par between England and Australia in the Ashes. Some people say it’s bigger than the Ashes. But I think if this test series goes according to plan and we have a tight test series I think this will really put it up there in competition with the Ashes,” he added.
