Bengal Warriors vs Gujarat Giants: In the 73rd match of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), Bengal Warriors won against Gujarat Giants by a margin of 46-27. Bengal beat Gujarat for the second time in a row and they have been unbeaten for the last four matches. Overall, Bengal has won the sixth match of this season, while Gujarat has to face the sixth defeat.
Both the teams were almost equal in the first half.
In the first 10 minutes, both the teams were almost on par and the defense of both the teams made mistakes. Although the raiders did the work of bringing points for both the teams, but in spite of this only 18 points were scored in the first 11 minutes. The game went slow in the last nine minutes as well and by the end of the first half, Gujarat was leading 15-14. Captain Chandran Ranjit and HS Rakesh scored four raid points each for Gujarat. Manuj took three tackle points for Gujarat.
Srikant Jadhav was the most successful raider for Bengal, scoring five raid points. Maninder Singh was not very successful and he got only three raid points in seven raids. Bengal got only three points in defense, while Gujarat’s defense got six points in its name.

Bengal made a strong comeback in the second half
Bengal was under pressure in the second half, but captain Maninder made a comeback after the first five minutes to lead his team 20-18. On the strength of Maninder, Bengal all-out Gujarat within nine minutes and took a seven-point lead in the match. It was the first time a team had a lead of five or more points after nearly 29 minutes of play. Bengal, showing consistent good play, did not give Gujarat a chance to come back and took a 12-point lead with five minutes left.
With two minutes left, Gujarat was once again all out and now Bengal’s lead was 16 points. Gujarat could not cut this lead. Both Maninder and Shrikant Jadhav hit Super-10s. In the second half, Gujarat’s defense could score only one point.
