In which the grounds of Mumbai and Pune were included, while the knockout matches were organized in Kolkata and Ahmedabad. The final match was played between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In this match, Gujarat Titans won the IPL title for the first time by defeating Rajasthan Royals.
BCCI wrote a letter to the state board
