BCCI vs PCB, Asia Cup 2023: The ongoing tussle between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding the Asia Cup event is continuing. Apart from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan had already made their stand clear in ACC. All these three member countries have no problem with playing in Pakistan. But the Indian board has completely refused to support the hybrid model.

The Indian board has also got the support of Sri Lanka and Afghanistan board in opposing the hybrid model of PCB of BCCI. According to this model, other teams will have to travel from Pakistan to other countries to play matches against India. At the same time, this model will be very expensive for broadcasters as well.
The Indian board can propose to organize the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka, in which the right to organize the tournament will remain with the PCB.
