Babar has now left behind all the veterans by achieving this position in just 97 innings in ODIs. While Babar is now in the first place in the list, Hashim Amla has reached the second number.
Former West Indies legend Vivian Richards completed his 5,000 runs in 114 innings in ODIs. Former Indian team captain Virat Kohli is also in fourth place in this list with 114 innings. Australian opening batsman David Warner has now reached number 5 in this list with 115 innings.
