Australia captured the series by defeating England in the second ODI, Smith’s brilliant innings

Australia vs England 2nd ODI: Australia beat England by 72 runs in the second ODI to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. In the match played at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Australia batting first scored a score of 280 runs. In response, the England team was reduced to a score of 208 runs. Australia rested Pat Cummins in this match and Josh Hazlewood was captaining the team.

Batting first, Australia had lost two wickets for 43 runs. After this, Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne shared an important partnership of 101 runs for the third wicket. Labushen was dismissed after scoring 58 runs, but Smith then shared a 90-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Mitchell Marsh. Smith was dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 94 runs.
