AMU is going to start Digital Journalism course, admission will be done on so many seats

AMU: Aligarh Muslim University is going to start a new course soon. This course will be started by the mass communication department of the university. Regarding the course, university officials say that in today’s data-rich era, it is very important to identify the right data and use it properly.  

Head of Department of Mass Communication, Dr. Pitbas Pradhan said that in today’s digital age, the need for digital skills in journalism is increasing. For which there is also a need to change the students associated with journalism according to it. In view of this change, Post Graduation Diploma in Digital Journalism is being started by the department. The objective of this course is to give digital skills to the students, in which information about the modern software running in the media world will also be given. Under which  major software of video editing, photo editing and sound recording will also be told.

The duration will be 1 year

Dr. Pitbas Pradhan told that the mass communication department will run this course. The duration of this course will be 1 year which will be completed in 2 semesters. There will be a total of 30 seats for admission. For which the entrance test will be organized by the department. He told that any graduate student can enroll in this course. All the information related to the course has been made available on the official website of the university. Earlier, PhD in Mass Communication, MA (Mass Communication), PG Diploma in Public Relations and PG Diploma in Journalism courses were being conducted by the department.  Aligarh Muslim University is located in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. It is a central university.
