Tales of Akbar Birbal: The Most Beautiful Child
Once Emperor Akbar was in the court with his prince. Akbar’s prince was very handsome, due to which everyone present in the court had an eye on him. Everyone present there was saying that Shahzada is the most beautiful child in the world. Akbar himself was also saying that his prince is the most beautiful child in the world and all the people present in the court were agreeing to Akbar’s words. Only then Birbal also reaches the court and Akbar asks Birbal, what do you think about this. My prince is the most beautiful child in the world.
When Birbal said, the prince is not the most beautiful child in the world
Birbal says Jahampanah! The prince is handsome but I think he is not the most handsome child in the world. After listening to Birbal, Akbar angrily says, Birbal, what do you mean by saying that the prince is not handsome? Birbal says no Jahampanah I do not mean to say like this. Don’t take my words wrongly. Our prince is very handsome, but he is not the prettiest child in the world.
Akbar says to Birbal, then should we understand that the most beautiful child in the whole world is not our prince. Birbal says, Ji Jahampanah! This is what I mean. Then Akbar tells Birbal that, if you think that there is a more beautiful child in the world than the prince, then bring him to us.
After this, Birbal sets out in search of a child more beautiful than the prince. In this way a few days pass and Birbal reaches the court. Seeing Birbal alone in the court, Akbar says, why have you come alone Birbal, haven’t you found a more beautiful child than the prince? Birbal says Jahampanah! I have come to tell you that I have found a child more beautiful than the prince. But I cannot bring him to the court. You have to go to that child. Akbar says, okay then we will go to that child tomorrow morning.
When Akbar came to meet the most beautiful child
Birbal says that it is okay but you will have to go in disguise to meet that child. Akbar agrees to this as well and leaves the next morning with Birbal to meet the child. Birbal takes Akbar to a hut. There is a small child there. The one who is playing with dust and soil. Birbal shows that child to Akbar and says, look Jahampanah, he is the most beautiful child.
Akbar gets angry at Birbal and he says to Birbal, you are calling an ugly child living in a hut the most beautiful child in the world. On hearing Akbar’s angry voice, the child started crying loudly. Hearing the cry of the child, his mother comes there and angrily starts abusing Akbar. She says to Akbar, how did you call my child ugly. My child is the most beautiful child in the world. If you call my child ugly again, I will unite both of you. Get out of my hut and don’t be seen here again. After this the mother starts feeding her child with love and says to the child that my child is the most beautiful child. Akbar also becomes silent after listening to the mother of that child and leaves from there.
Birbal again won Akbar’s heart
Birbal says Jahanpanah! Now you must have understood that, no matter how the child is, for his mother he is the most beautiful child in the world. Birbal further says that our prince is also very handsome. You just give her good training, so that her beauty can be further enhanced. After listening to Birbal’s words, Akbar says, Birbal you have won our heart once again.
