Airport Chaos 2023: Summer vacations are about to begin and with this, tourists from all over the country and abroad will go on holiday. In such a situation, maximum congestion will be seen at the airports. Along with the domestic flight, there is a gathering of passengers at the airport for international flights as well. Taking lessons from last year’s chaos, the central government has already become cautious about passenger facilities at the airport. Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself has reviewed the passenger facilities available at airports across the country on Thursday.
The Home Minister has instructed the officials associated with the aviation sector to make their journey smooth for the air travelers during the coming holiday season. The Home Minister has given orders to provide additional facilities at airports for the convenience of passengers. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Civil Aviation and officials of Central Industrial Security Force participated in this high-level meeting regarding the preparations of airports during the holiday season.
During the winter season of Christmas and New Year holidays in November-December last year, there was such a crowd of passengers at the airports that long queues were seen continuously in the airports. Many air travelers even missed their flights. People were seen getting upset at the airport. People also vented their anger on the preparations of the airports through social media.
Air passengers were reaching the airports early, yet their flights were missed and they had to spend a huge amount on taking another flight. Children and the elderly had to face the most problems. After which the Civil Aviation Minister went to the airport to take stock of the situation, after which the number of security check lines was increased.
