No need to change 4G sim
Apple will require a software update to use 5G services on iPhones. The special thing is that 5G will work with the existing 4G SIM which is already present in your phone.
5G Won’t Work on These iPhones
After the software update, iPhone users will be able to use 5G. However, all iPhones from iPhone 12 onwards will get 5G facility. The iPhone 11 or earlier does not have 5G bands, so 5G connectivity will not be available on older iPhones.
