300 companies will apply bar code
Let us tell you that at present the government has directed only 300 big pharma companies to put bar codes on their medicines. With this, it will be easy to identify between genuine and fake medicines. This system will come into effect from 1 August 2023. Most of those companies have been included in this, whose medicines are sold at the highest retail price. This includes brand names such as Allegra, Dolo, Augmentin, Saridon, Calpol and Thyronorm.
