Odisha’s Mining Minister Prafulla Malik has informed that this reserve has been found in Deogarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts.

In a written reply to the question of MLA Sudhir Kumar Samal in the Assembly, Minister Prafulla Malik said that the Geological Survey of India and the Directorate of Mines and Geological Survey of India have found in their survey that Deogarh ( Gold deposits have been found in the districts of Deogarh), Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Where were the gold reserves found

Significantly, this gold reserve has been found at four places in Mayurbhanj, one place in Deogarh and four places in Keonjhar. This includes Suriaguda, Ruansila, Dhushura hill and Joshipura area of ​​Mayurbhanj district. This store has been found in Adas of Deogarh and Dimirimunda, Kushkala, Gotipur and Gopur of Keonjhar. Along with this, Prafulla Malik also said in his reply that GSI survey was conducted in these areas in the years 1970 and 1980, but its result was not released. But for the last 2 years, GSI was continuously conducting surveys within these three districts. After this it came to know that there are gold reserves in these places. At present, it is not yet clear that how big is the gold reserve found in these three districts and how much gold is present in it.

Earlier lithium reserves were found in India

Before sleeping, lithium reserves were found for the first time in the country. This reserve was found in Lithium Reserves in Jammu Kashmir. According to the Geological Survey of India i.e. GSI, this reserve is of 59 lakh tonnes. After getting such a large amount of lithium, India will no longer have to depend on other countries for this. Let us tell you that Lithium is a white colored metal which is mostly used to make batteries. In this case it is also called White Gold.
