Heart disease patients are being provided treatment and health facilities in medical colleges, central institutes like AIIMS, central government hospital and private sector hospital.
AIIMS and many large health institutions also focus on heart disease and its various aspects under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana. Health insurance cover is provided. More than 60 crore beneficiaries are getting its benefits.
