Andrew Balbirnie said, “After much thought, I have made the decision to step down from the ODI and T20I captaincy. It has been a great honor to lead this team over the past few years. To see my teammates continue to believe in me and support me.” I am grateful to the players, coaches and fans.”
He further said, “I think this is the right time for me, but I will continue to give my best for this team and also work hard to contribute with the bat. Hopefully the next few years will be good for us.” Thank you everyone.”
