Adani Transmission announces quarterly results, 73% jump in profit, Rs 478 crore profit

Adani Transmission Q3 Results: Adani Transmission Limited has announced the results for the third quarter October to December of the financial year 2022-23. In the quarter ending December 31, 2022, the profit of Adani Transmission has jumped by 73 percent as compared to the same quarter last year. Adani Transmission’s profit was Rs 478.15 crore, which was Rs 283.75 crore in the third quarter of 2021-22.

There has been a jump of 15.8 percent in the revenue of Adani Transmission in the third quarter, which was Rs 2623 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year. The company’s EBITDA stood at Rs 1798 crore in the third quarter, which is 28.9 percent higher. The company said in its statement that the company’s revenue has increased due to the commissioning of new transmission lines. In the third quarter of the current financial year, there has been a jump of 34 percent in cash profit and it has been Rs 955 crore. At the same time, EPS has been Rs 4.26 per share during this period.

The company said that in the third quarter, it has started operation of 371 ckm with 99.75 percent system availability. Due to increase in demand in the commercial segment in the third quarter, the demand for electricity increased by 4.4 percent. Along with this, there has been a reduction of 5.6 percent in the loss due to distribution.

Adani Transmission’s MD Anil Sardana said that the company is continuously moving forward. Adani Transmission has become a major player in transmission and distribution. Despite the challenging economic environment, ATL continues to move ahead on the path of growth. The pipeline of projects and recently commissioned assets will further strengthen our presence as the largest private sector transmission and distribution company across India, he said.

Adani Transmission is the electricity transmission and distribution company of the Adani Group. The company has presence in 13 states and has a total network of 18,795 ckm out of which 15,371 ckm is operational. The construction work on 3424 ckm is going on in different stages. Adani Transmission is serving 12 million customers in Mumbai and Mundra SEZ.
