Adani Group: After successful roadshow in Asian countries, now Adani Group is going to do Fixed Income Investors Roadshow in America, London and Gulf countries this month. After the report of Hindenberg Research, the group is preparing to conduct roadshows with the aim of winning the trust of investors.
According to a Reuters report, this roadshow will be organized between March 7 and March 15, in which Jugshinder Singh, chief financial officer of the group, will participate. Earlier the group did roadshows in Singapore and Hong Kong this week. After which there has been a brake on the fall in the shares of the group and for the last three days all the 10 shares of the Adani group have continued to rise.
On Thursday itself, the group informed that in order to raise cash, the Adani group has raised a total of Rs 15,446 crore by selling shares of its four companies in a block deal. The company said that it has sold these shares to American private equity firm GQG Partners (GQG Partners) in a block deal. The group has sold four subsidiary companies Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited, Adani Green Energy, Adani Transmission and Adani Enterprises to GQG Partners in a KK Shares block deal.
In fact, on January 24, 2022, after the report of the short seller Hindenburg, the shares of the listed companies of Adani Group fell upside down. The market cap of the group came down from Rs 19 lakh crore to close to Rs 7 lakh crore. Means the market cap of Rs 12 lakh crore decreased due to this research report. In such a situation, in order to win the trust of investors and compensate for the loss caused to the image of the group, Adani Group is now planning to hold roadshows in different cities of America and Europe as well.
On the other hand, the Supreme Court has formed a committee under the chairmanship of a retired judge to investigate Hindenburg’s allegations, which has to submit its report to the court within two months. Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision and said that truth will prevail. The market is hopeful that after this investigation, the clouds of volatility surrounding the shares of the group will clear.
