New Delhi: About 10 persons were killed, and 30 injured in Cambodia inside the Grand Diamond City hotel in Poipet as a fire erupted and raged for several hours.
‘About 10 killed, 30 injured’ in Cambodia hotel casino fire, news agency AFP reported citing the police.
According to a report by The Mirror, a partial collapse was reported besides extensive damage as later, firefighters claimed that around 70% of the fire was under control.
Purported videos on social media showed people jumping to escape the fire from the fifth floor.

As per the report, the fire is believed to have erupted around midnight ( 5 pm GMT – 10:30 pm IST).
