Finch was dismissed after scoring 93 runs off 99 balls. Due to this innings of their captain, Australia had scored a score of 313 runs, in response the Indian team was all out for 281 runs. After winning this match, Australia won the remaining two matches and won the series 3-1.

Last played here memorable innings against India
In November 2020, Aaron Finch scored a brilliant century in the very first match of the ODI series on India’s tour of Australia. He played an inning of 114 runs off 124 balls. Due to his innings, Australia had scored a huge score of 374 runs, in response the Indian team could score only 308 runs. This was Finch’s last and big memorable innings against India.

Finch lost the match but won the heart
Aaron Finch played such memorable innings in two T20 matches against India that he won hearts even after losing. In the Rajkot T20 held in October 2013, Finch played a blistering inning of 89 runs in just 52 balls. Thanks to this innings, Australia had given India a target of 202 runs. India defeated Finch’s innings by winning this target with two balls to spare.

Something similar happened with Finch in the T20 match played in Melbourne in January 2016. Here the Indian team had given Australia a target of 185 runs. Here wickets kept falling from one end of Australia but Finch kept the other end in check. He scored 74 runs in 48 balls in a quick manner. But here he was run out and then the Kangaroo team lost the match losing back to back wickets.
