Telugu Titans vs Gujarat Giants: In the 46th match of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2022, Gujarat Giants defeated Telugu Titans by a margin of 30-19. This is the fourth win of this season for Gujarat, while Titans have got the seventh defeat. The match was entirely of defenders in which Gujarat’s defense got 13 tackle points.
Very defensive first half
The start of the match was very defensive and in the first half both the teams struggled in raiding. By the end of the first half, the team of Titans was ahead 12-9. The defense of Titans had taken six tackle points, while the defense of Gujarat had got four tackle points. Both the teams were almost equal in raiding. HS Rakesh, the second most successful raider of this season, flopped badly and got only two points in 10 raids.
Vijay Kumar and Ankit did a great job for Titans. Both the young players had got three tackle points each. Sourav Gulia also took three tackle points for Gujarat. Rakesh may have flopped, but for Gujarat, Prateek Dahiya did not let the team lag much behind by taking three raid points.
Gujarat attacked in the second half
In the second half, the game of Gujarat was better in which they took the lead in the match by getting Gujarat all out. With 10 minutes left, Gujarat had a six-point lead. Sourav Gulia completed his third high five of the season with a brilliant performance and Gujarat’s lead was eight points. A minute before the end of the match, the Titans were all out for the second time and Gujarat had a 10 point lead. With this lead, Gujarat won the match.
