U Mumba beat Bengal Warriors with huge margin, defenders did wonders

Bengal Warriors vs U Mumba: In the 47th match of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2022, U Mumba defeated Bengal Warriors by a margin of 36-25. This is the fifth win of the season for Mumba, while Bengal has to face the fourth defeat. This is the third defeat for Bengal in the last four matches. Mumba’s defense gave a strong performance and got a total of 19 tackle points in the match.

Mumba showed a great game at the end of the first half

Mumba then saved his all out by making a super tackle. With one minute of play remaining, Ashish dismissed four defenders in a raid to put Mumba ahead by six points. Maninder Singh was the only remaining player for Bengal.

Maninder was out in the next raid itself and the Bengal team was all out. By half time, Mumba was ahead 21-13. Mumba’s defense did a great job and got nine tackle points. Surinder Singh took the maximum four while Rinku took three tackle points. Maninder took four points for Bengal, but other raiders proved to be flops.

Mumba’s defense ran fiercely in the second half

Bengal’s game improved in the second half and in the fifth minute, Srikant Jadhav did a super raid, reducing the lead of Mumba to five points. However, after this, Mumba’s defense made a super tackle and took its lead back to eight points. Bengal again made a slight comeback and with the last five minutes remaining, they were six points behind.
