On the basis of strong defense, Puneri has defeated Bengal by margin. This is the second consecutive defeat for Bengal. The defense of the platoon gave a strong performance and did not allow Bengal captain Maninder Singh to run.
Very close first half
The first half was very good in which both the teams showed great competition. Even though Bengal had the edge till half time, the platoon did not look weak from anywhere. In the first half, Bengal captain Maninder Singh took the maximum five raid points while putting a super raid. Paltan made Maninder sit on the bench for more than 10 minutes, otherwise his points could have been higher.

Sombir kept Paltan in the match, who took five tackle points in four attempts. Sombir has become the first defender of the platoon to hit a high five this season. Bengal were all out in the 33rd minute and Paltan took a four-point lead in the match.
Paltan’s captain Fazal was also in form and he also completed his high five. Taking consecutive points on the strength of the defenders, the platoon has won. Fazal took the maximum six tackle points in the match. Bengal’s Ernak also scored four tackle points.
