India vs New Zealand T20 Warm-Up Match T20 World Cup 2022: The second warm-up match of the T20 World Cup between India and New Zealand was canceled due to rain on Wednesday. The ICC has confirmed that the match has been cancelled. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also confirmed by tweeting that the match has been forced to be called off due to incessant rain.
India defeated hosts Australia by six runs in their first warm-up match while New Zealand suffered a nine-wicket defeat at the hands of South Africa.
Meanwhile, South Africa’s second warm-up match against Bangladesh was called off due to rain without a ball being bowled, while the Pakistan-Afghanistan match was abandoned due to rain.
Afghanistan, who lost their first match by 62 runs to Bangladesh, scored 154 for six in 20 overs. In response, Pakistan scored 19 runs in 2.2 overs without losing any wicket that after that the match could not be possible due to rain.
