Ingredients for making Sooji Rasgulla
To make rasgulla from semolina, you need half a liter of milk. Apart from this, cup semolina and cup sugar are needed. You can add cup mawa to it or you can also use cream. 2 tbsp sugar powder will be used to make rasgulla. For this, some chopped almonds, crushed cardamom and 2 tablespoons of ghee are needed. If you want, you can also use saffron and pistachios in it.
Sooji Rasgulla Recipe
1- To make Rasgulla, first prepare the syrup. For this, put 3/4 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a pan. Now cook on high flame till the sugar dissolves. Put some saffron in the syrup.
2- In another pan, add 2 spoons of ghee and fry the semolina for 2 minutes. Now mix milk in semolina and cook it till it becomes thick. Keep stirring the semolina continuously. When the semolina becomes thick, add cup sugar to it and cook for a while.
3- Now let the semolina dough cool down and prepare the stuffing. For this, fry the mawa a little. Mix cardamom, almonds, pistachios in it. When the stuffing cools down, add 2 tbsp sugar powder.
4- Now it is the turn to make Rasgulla. For this, take a small ball from semolina dough and fill it with stuffing by spreading it lightly. Now grease your hand and make it like a round rasgulla.
5- Put the prepared rasgulla in the syrup. Delicious semolina rasgullas are ready. You leave them in the syrup for 1 hour. Serve when it cools down a bit.
