ICC ODI World Cup 2023: The ICC ODI World Cup is to be held in India at the end of this year. All the cricket lovers are eagerly waiting for the announcement of the official schedule of this mega event. But the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not yet approved the draft schedule. PCB has requested ICC and BCCI to change the venues of their two matches. Now Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has given his opinion on this.

According to the draft schedule, the Pakistan Cricket Board has requested to change its venues for the two matches. Out of that, the team has to play one match on October 20 against Australia in Bengaluru and the other on October 23 against Afghanistan at Chennai ground. The PCB has requested to swap the venues of both the matches. PCB has also given some reasons for this.

On this request of PCB, Ravichandran Ashwin said on his YouTube channel that ICC may not give much importance to such request. According to Pakistan, the conditions in Chennai are quite suitable for the Afghan team. In view of this, changing the venue would directly benefit Pakistan. If Pakistan would have cited security reasons, then only there can be any change in the venue. But one more thing, he wants a change in the venue of his match against Australia as well. Both of them are requesting a change in the venue of the match.
