As an opening batsman in international cricket, Rohit Sharma is the 11th batsman who has more than 13,000 runs in international cricket.

Rohit Sharma is the third player to do so as an Indian opening batsman. Earlier, Virender Sehwag scored 15,758 runs while Sachin Tendulkar scored 15,335 runs. In the year 2013, Rohit Sharma made his debut in Test cricket. After this, in the year 2019, he got a chance to open in the Test.
