5G Mobile Services: Handsets are not supporting 5G, DOT called a meeting of telecom companies

5G Mobile Services: 5G mobile service (5G Mobile SERVICES) has been started in the country. But the mobile handsets that mobile customers have are not supporting this technology. After which the central government is going to push Apple, Samsung and other mobile phone makers to upgrade the software. The Department of Telecommunications has called a meeting with smartphone makers and telecom operators on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

On October 1, 5G mobile service was launched. But it has come to the notice that the handset models of many mobile companies are not supporting the 5G network of Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. Apple iPhone models including the latest iPhone 14 as well as Samsung’s premier handset software are also not supporting 5G in India. After which Telecom Secretary K Rajaraman has called a meeting of telecom operators and mobile handset companies providing 5G service.

About 30 companies have been called for this meeting, which includes Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Reliance Jio, Vodafone Aiza, and Bharti Airtel.

Prime minister Narendra Modi Launched 5G mobile service on October 1, 2022. After which Reliance Jio started 5G mobile service in four cities and Bharti Airtel in 8 cities. Both companies have said that in the coming days they will expand 5G services to other cities as well.
