how to avoid heart attack
Talk about heart attack, nowadays the cases of art attack or heart attack are increasing rapidly. At the age of 40-50, the heart is deceiving. Vagbhat Rishi has given more than 7000 formulas for the prevention of diseases in his book Ashtanga Hridayam, in which heart attack is also one. According to Vagbhata Rishi, heart attack occurs after blockage of the heart tubes. This happens because of the increase of acidity in the blood. Here acidity does not mean stomach acidity. The meaning of this acidity is the increasing acidity in the blood, which is also known as hyper acidity.
When acidity starts increasing in the blood, then the blood is not able to pass through the arteries of the heart and a time comes when it blocks the tubes, due to which a heart attack occurs. If acidity has increased in your blood, then alkaline things should be consumed. Along with science, it has also been told in Ayurveda that, when alkali is mixed with acid, the condition becomes normal. Similarly, if the acidity in the blood becomes normal then there will never be a possibility of heart attack.
What are alkaline things: Vagbhat in his treatise considers bottle gourd (milky gourd) to be the most important to reduce the amount of acidity in the blood. Along with gourd, things like figs, grapes, dates, milk, orange, pear, sprouted grains, beetroot, cabbage, carrot, onion, radish, cucumber, tomato, spinach, pumpkin, parwal etc. are alkaline.
