Deputy jailer passed UPSC exam, grandfather used to make pottery

UPSC Success Story: UPSC has released the results of Civil Services Examination on 23 May. In which a total of 933 candidates have been successful in the examination. Every year lakhs of candidates prepare for this exam, but only a few candidates get successful in this exam. Many candidates prepare for the exam diligently while being posted on two other posts and taste the success. One of whom is Mohit Kumar, the deputy jailer from UP.

Mohit Kumar, a resident of Meerut district of UP, is posted as Deputy Jailor in District Jail Mainpuri. Who has achieved success by getting 512th rank in UPSC exam. On the success of Mohit Kumar, he has been congratulated by the higher authorities. Mohit Kumar’s father Pitam Singh does a private job. While his mother Kusumlata is a homemaker. He also has a younger sister who is currently studying.

Succeeded after many attempts

Mohit Kumar says that he has faced failure in many attempts before. He has passed the main exam three times before this. He became deputy jailer after passing the exam in 2019. In the month of March this year, Mohit joined Mainpuri District Jail as Deputy Jailor. Mohit’s father tells that his father i.e. Mohit’s grandfather Dataram used to make pottery in the village. It was his and the whole family’s dream that one day Mohit should become a big officer, which is now being fulfilled. Mohit was very smart in studies from the beginning. By passing the UPSC exam, he has fulfilled everyone’s dream and brought laurels to the district. Mohit got this success in his 8th attempt.
