The first batch under the leadership of Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid will leave for England today. After RCB did not reach the playoffs, Virat Kohli is also leaving with the first batch to prepare for the WTC final match and fast bowler Mohammad Siraj is also included in it. The BCCI source said in a statement to PTI that the team will leave in a total of 2 or 3 batches.
Jaydev Unadkat will also leave for England
In the 16th season of IPL, fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat, who was injured during practice in the nets, will also leave for England with the first batch. Unadkat is yet to fully recover from his shoulder injury. BCCI’s medical team will continuously monitor his fitness in London and accordingly a decision will be taken regarding Unadkat’s availability.
Regarding Jaydev Unadkat, a BCCI official said in his statement to Inside Sport that Mr. Jaydev is traveling with the team. He is very close to completing his rehab. But he is yet to be fit for the match. He has just started bowling a bit. But we are hopeful that he will be fully recovered by next week.
