All Realme 5G phones to support high-speed 5G networks by the end of October

Realme has announced that its entire lineup of 5G smartphones will support standalone 5G networks in India by October. It said that 85 percent of its smartphones already support SA, which is a high-speed 5G network. A support spectrum is used to give 5G speed. In India, SA 5G will probably be available on 700MHz spectrum, which is only owned by Reliance Jio.

At the India Mobile Congress, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth said that the company’s entire 5G lineup is compatible with the spectrum given to the telecom service providers. The company also announced that it has partnered with Indian telcos, Jio, Airtel, and Vi, as well as chip makers Qualcomm and MediaTek, for 5G in India. Realme was the first brand to announce that it is working on a 5G phone under Rs 10,000.

Realme has already started rolling out a new software update for its 5G phones which will act as support for Jio 5G. This means that users in locations that now have 5G coverage will be able to enjoy 5G after updating their phones to the latest software. Sheth also tweeted a screenshot of a Realme phone to show 5G network support.
