Petrol Diesel Price 2 October 2022: Today on Sunday, oil companies have released new prices of petrol and diesel at 6 am. It is worth noting that there has been no change in the price of petrol and diesel for the 134th consecutive day. Oil remains at its old price in the major metros of the country. In such a situation, this is a relief news for the common man struggling with inflation.

No change happened on 21st May
In order to give relief from the rising inflation of the common people of the country, the central government had cut the excise duty on the price of petrol and diesel. This reduction has been made on petrol by Rs 8 per liter and in diesel by Rs 6 per liter. After this announcement, some state governments of the country like Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Odisha and Kerala had cut VAT here.

After this cut, the price of petrol and diesel has remained almost constant in almost every part of the country. At the same time, the prices of crude oil in the international market have been seen softening for some time. The price of Brent crude has registered a fall. It is currently trending at $85.14. At the same time, there has been a decrease in the price of WTI crude and it is trending at $ 79.49.
