This saves your booking time and increases your chances of getting a confirmed ticket. This list is prepared by going to the profile section of IRCTC. Prepare the master list in this way-

• For this, first open the IRCTC app.
• Then go to My Master List by choosing the option of My Account.
• If you have not created any master list then you will see no record. Click on OK on this.
• After this click on Add Passengers.
• After this, fill the details of all the passengers like name, age.
• After that save it.

How to use master list while booking tickets-

• Click on Plan My Journey while booking tickets.
• After this select the station and date.
• Then go to Go to Passenger Details.
• After this, go to the option of Add Passengers and fill the details of the passengers from the master list.
• After this make the payment and your ticket booking will be done in a few minutes.
• Due to Master List your ticket booking period will be reduced and due to this you will have more chances of getting confirmed ticket at the time of booking tatkal ticket.
