Pro Kabaddi League Unsold Veterans: The auction of the ninth season of Pro Kabaddi League was quite spectacular. For the first time, there was a bid of two crore rupees or more for a player. Tamil Thalaivas had spent Rs 2.26 crore to buy Pawan Sehrawat. Pawan has become the most expensive player in league history. Apart from Pawan, some other players have also got a big price. However, in the meantime, some legendary players were not bought by any team.
Ajay Thakur did not participate in this season’s auction. Ajay is suffering from fitness issues so he was not a part of the auction. However, apart from him, there were some veterans who took part in the auction, but they were only disappointed. Let’s take a look at three legendary players that no one has bought.
Rohit Kumar
Rohit Kumar, who made Bangalore Bulls champion in his captaincy in the sixth season, remained unsold. Rohit was not bought by any team for the ninth season. All-rounder Rohit was the captain of Telugu Titans last season. However, he managed only 12 raid points in eight matches and struggled with fitness throughout the season.
Sandeep Narwal
Sandeep Narwal, one of the biggest all-rounders of the league, was also disappointed in the auction. Sandeep became the champion last season with Dabang Delhi, but this season he will not be a part of the league. Sandeep has so far taken 623 points in the league, out of which 348 have come in defending. It was a shocking thing for a player like him to remain unsold.
Rishank Devadiga
Rishank Devadiga, who captained the UP Yoddha, was not bought by any team this season. Rishank, who was part of Bengal Warriors last season, played only one match in the eighth season. For the last three seasons, there was a decline in Rishank’s performance and perhaps that is why no team has bet on him.
