Air India will hire 5100 crew trainees and pilots in 2023 after buying new aircraft

Air India Recruitment: Air India is preparing for the hiring of 5100 Cabin Crew Trainee and Pilots. Tata Group’s Air India will recruit 4200 Crabin Crew Trainee and 900 Pilots in 2023. The company has announced this. Only last week, Air India has signed a deal with Airbus and Boeing to buy 470 new aircraft, after which the company has now announced the recruitment of pilots and cabin crew.

According to Air India, the cabin crew trainees who will be recruited will have to undergo a 15-week tanning program at the airlines’ training facility in Mumbai, which includes classroom to in-flight training. Earlier in May 2022 and February 2023, Air India had hired 1900 cabin crew. Out of which 1100 cabin crew have been trained between July 2022 and January 2023. Air India told that 500 cabin crew have been allowed to fly.

Sandeep Verma, head of Air India’s inflight services, said that a large number of aircraft have been ordered this month. More flights are being added to international and domestic networks. Domestic routes are being reconfigured on AIX Connect. Cabin Crew are going to play a big role in shaping the present and future of Air India. He said that in the coming times, the hiring of more pilots and maintenance engineers will be taken forward.

Ever since Air India has been acquired by the Tata Group, various efforts are being made to expand the airlines and improve the services. Tata is going to increase the fleet number of aircraft, while its other airlines Vistara, Air Asia and Air India Express are merging with Air India to form big airlines so that other airlines can be challenged.
